I thought it would be fun to start a “sharing my soul” series where I talk about what I’m currently doing, reading, feeling, eating, etc. You get the picture! Here we go…
Currently I’m reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. I’ve been a huge fan of her since high school (my favorite movie is the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightley) and I recently joined a Jane Austen book club on Meetup.com. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m not going to be able to finish reading it for this upcoming meetup (I joined late) but I hope I make it to the next one.
Listening to Taylor Swift.
Her new album, Reputation, recently came out and I’m SO excited. Sadly, her music isn’t available on Apple music yet so I have to wait a week or two. BUT I have been loving her new songs that have already been released, so they’ve been on repeat. My favorite one so far is Call It What You Want.
Watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Who else?! 43 days.
Thinking about making videos on YouTube again! In the past I’ve made a few videos on travel and other random ones, but was never consistent because I really wanted to focus on writing and my blog. Who knows…maybe 2018 will be the year?!
Feeling like I need to relax more. Especially with the holiday season coming up…anyone else?
Loving yoga so so much. I feel like this one will probably end up on every “sharing my soul” series because yoga is everything. I feel like a new person after class. This past Friday I tried Bikram yoga for the first time, which was taught by my amazing friend Stacy. I’m also planning on completing my YTT in the fall of 2018…can’t wait!
Wearing a lot of jeans and tees because my new job’s dress code is CASUAL. I love it.
Eating sugar free, dairy free and gluten free. I feel like this helps me manage anxiety, depression, my mood, my appetite and has helped clear my skin. Has anyone read A Mind of Your Own? Because it’s amazing and changed my life.
Drinking Dandy Blend! I keep it at work and have it first thing when I get to the office. It’s a great substitute for coffee since it is CAFFEINE FREE but it still has that bitterness to it like coffee.
Hbu?? Comment one (or more) of what you’ve been doing lately!
